Ultimate N Scale

Quick question for ya'll. Does anyone know if Ultimate N Scale is still around? I see the website is up, but the main site for the ship side of the business doesn't pull up for me.
I've started clearing the back log of hobby projects and was thinking of adding a Trailer Train single trailer flat to my 70's train.

thanks

I contacted them a couple of years ago and bought a few trailer kits.   I sent an e-mail first to ask if they were still an active business, and letting them know which kits I was interested in.
After they replied I sent an order which they filled.

It seemed that they were selling off whatever they had left in stock w.r.t. N-scale stuff, but not producing any more.

I'm sorry Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that.

I bought a lot of his trailers many years ago.
I mostly bought older prototypes and ones that were as easy to make similar to 1:160 scale as most of his models are closer to 1:144.

Back in the first decade of the 21st Century, Panzerschiffe (maker of mostly military resin-cast items) bought out Ultimate N Scale's stock and molds.
Back in 2011 I purchased several ex-Ultimate N Scale resin cast trailers which were in-stock at the time (I still have most of them).  Even back then, when I asked when the out-of stock models would be produced I was informed that Panzerschiffe was not planning on producing new models but just selling off the remaining stock. At least that is what I remember.

These are pretty decent resin castings, but as Bryan mentioned, they seem to be larger than N scale.  Our own @Rasputen could likely made shrunken copies of the Ultimate N Scale castings to proper N scale size, but even if he was willing, Panzerschiffe would have to give permission to do that.

I found a 24 ft and a 28 ft trailer in my workbench, they both scale out nicely.  I think the comments about being oversize may be more about the trucks.

No doubt, but it’s cross contaminated.
I have oodles of their offerings and I eventually grew tired of trying to make them fit in.
