Next 18 board for install in kato F unit question

Thinking of trying out one of the next 18 adapter boards instead of hard wiring a v5 micro into a Kato F7A.

First question is what esu loksound decoder is the correct match for using this board. Is it the 58828 board that works with the next 18 adapter board in a Kato F7?

Second question is when wiring lights is there already a 1000k resistor in place for the front LED and on the auxiliary pads as well? Hard to see the traces on the board because it is black.  But that would be my main reason for using it as that is where the space savings would come in handy. Not having to package resistors with shrink wrap would be nice. Thanks for any replies.

You're speaking of the WVD adapter board, right? In that case yes, 58828 is the right board, and all function outputs have a 1k resistor.

I add an extra 1500Ohm resistor in series.  This gives plenty of light, and reduced the current demand from the LokSound decoder.  I like to run my electronics "cold", ever since I started designing and repairing amplifiers and other circuits back in the early 1970s.  I posted on my recent F type installs in the DCC section months ago.
