I think I remember seeing one like that when I was a kid.  It was on the same lot as a larger station, and the pumps had been moved. But the shape sticks in my mind, especially the corner detail in the brickwork, and the color was white paint.

So, I am wondering if these were somewhat common in the past.  Standard Oil / Esso (now Exxon) was widely distributed.

Info stated that this was located near Detroit Lakes in Minnesota.
