Add-on businesses to residential house fronts

I'm wondering if anybody anywhere (maybe in 3D print) makes a kit/whole structure of a regular house that has a add-on (usually brick) front section that serves as a small business (lawyer's office, beauty shop, etc). I'm sure most of you have seen constructions like these in smaller cities and probably have some in the places you live. They're usually in or near a small commercial district with other regular stores. The houses range from big Victorian-style to just plain regular 2-stories. Sometimes the front add-on is as tall as the house.
I'm sure there are pix of them somewhere on the internet. I'm thinking specifically of N scale but obviously these would work in any scale.
Or maybe there's a kit/structure that is only the add-on, and the modeler gets to graft it onto whatever model house he chooses?

I picked up three Atlas N scale plug door boxcars a few months back.  I sent an email asking what the extra pieces were for in the packaging.  I received a reply 3 or 4 days later, with the entire thread showing that my email had bounced through a few “who can help this guy” pass-alongs.  (The questionable parts were to simulate cushioned underframe extended couplers; folks here on TRW replied within a few hours of posting the question here).

When I responded with my observation that the out-of-the-box roll-ability of all 3 cars was deplorable and needed tweaking, the correspondence ground to a halt.

In my experience, it’s best to call atlas. I’ve had nothing but good correspondences via phone.
