Question for the electronics boffins among us.
With modern miniature everything is it possible to light up the arm prototypically? With the outer light on constantly and the two inner lights flashing opposite each other?
The Railwire is not your personal army.

Yes. I have such a project on my workbench, but like the 3 dozen other interesting projects mouldering there, it's pretty far down in the roundtuit queue.

The secret (don't tell anyone! ) is forming the arm out of thin double-sided circuit board material. Common on one side, traces on the back, and solder 0402 LEDs across the top, bridging the circuits. Bundle of thin wires resembling the prototype comprise the flexible connection to the mast.

For those looking at what era these are, these look like they are probably 1990-early 2000's

Up to the 70's - black or red A arm, mechanical bell, standard lights. Single or dual counter weights.
80's red A or bar arm, dual or single counter weight.mechanical bell. Standard lights
90's-2000 red bar arm, single counter weight mechanical bell. Standard lights
2010+ red bar arm, single counter weight, electric bell, bug eye LED lights.

There's a shyness found in reason
Apprehensive influence swallow away
You seem to feel abysmal take it
Then you're careful grace for sure
Kinda like the way you're breathing
Kinda like the way you keep looking away
