@Ed Kapuscinski That panning shot is beautiful! Very nice work on the models AND the scenery! Your friend’s lighting setup is amazing, hopefully he decides to join the forum and share some of his tricks!

Just like saying Beetlejuice too many times, watch what we wish for.  He'll join up and will put us all to shame.  By the end of the week we all will have quit modeling and taken up knitting or stamp collecting  :D

In comparison to those modules inside it, the Cow Palace looks even worse than usual...

Did they revive Gino's in the Baltimore Metropolitan Area?  They were everywhere in D.C., Virginia, Maryland and New Jersey the first time that I lived in the Washington Metropolitan Area.   cockroaches".
There are a few Gino's that have re-appeared and they are trying to get the franchise going again with their signature "Gino Giant" purportedly the inspiration for the Big Mac. As to Roy Rogers, after Marriott them, they tailed off and just got absorbed or closed into their other franchises. FWIW, if memory serves, Ameche's early on merged with Gino's.

This might bring back a few memories... https://www.ginostowson.com/

Roy's is alive and well in Western Maryland.  One in Cumberland, two in Hagerstown and a few more around Frederick.  I'm sure there are more.  And they still slice actual roast beef, not that dreck they sling at Arby's.

Our goto for lunch was Lenny's (not Denny's) downtown someplace back before Klein's moved out of the city.

I grabbed some electrical goodies from Spring Creek, but the big takeaway was some photos on my friend Scott's awesome TTRAK module set. The skies here are all real, there's no photoshop involved. He does it all with LED lighting.

And a few on my own modules:

Daaaaaayummmmmmmm.  That is outstanding.

it was supercool seeing everyone and setting up FreeMoN as well as TTrak ...  both layouts were the biggest to date.  THe show was hopping on Saturday and Sunday slowed down (typical for the Feb show).  As i said in the beginnning... seeing everyone is the highlight of the weekend for me.  Oh... i picked up 2 NKP Cabeese as well... so that's cool.

Next up... back to the basement to keep up the enthusiasm and get Ed over here to operate.
