N Scale BLI ATSF Northern "Heavy Mountain"

So, something came to light while poking BLI for product ideas....
The October 2023 Broadway Flyer has hinted at a ATSF Northern! Specifically 3751.
It is in the question and answer section. I don't know how I missed this! Posted a screenshot below.

I know some of you don't care for BLI, but I have not had many issues out of anything from them as of late. (NW2, SD70ACe, Big Boy) at least the Paragon 4.
I'm excited to see this finally come to fruition!

I had been a nay-sayer to Broadway's electronics for some time now but after receiving my 3 NW2's have changed my tune somewhat. I still plan to replace the decoder with ESU at some point but they operate very well and pull quite well too.

Thanks for sharing the steam update!

They've been feeding rumors about the 3751 for what seems like a couple years. But it is good to see something in print. Truth be told, I have more use for a 3461 or 3450 or the big Pacific (I forget the class). But, I might just buy one, if they actually produce it in my lifetime.

I really had no business buying a NW2, but the Santa Fe bonnet scheme was too nice to pass up, and it's been a sturdy little runner, that sounds pretty good. Though if you decide to replace the Paragon boards, and want to discard them, discard one or two my way. 😂 I wanna see if I can fit them in a LL SW or Kato NW2. 😂

3463... (Attachment Link)
Lol. Did you make enough for everybody?
What chassis does it fit? Or would I need to scratchbuild the chassis?  I recall reading something a couple years ago about a model built using a 2-6-0 mechanism with Fox Valley drivers and custom made front and rear truck...was that yours?

But...yes, 3463 would be great to have.  That said, I am promising myself NO new projects until after I finish my 40 passenger car projects, a rather large station, and have trains running on a layout I haven't started yet.  And no major cash outlays until I get new windows in the house and a new garage door.

Same. I don't love them, but they're not bad enough to rip and replace yet.

im designing it to fit a cut down kato FEF mech with the read driver removed. i am NOT requiring anyone to go through the efforts i did for the original 3463 that i built. one of these new bodies will replace my kitbashed one on that original mech though. i can shorten a chassis for you if youd be interested.
