OK, here’s a Hail Mary for you guys Who are lucky enough to get to a train show the next few weeks.

I’m looking for a George Hollwedel micro trains caboose three pack for ATSF.

It was sold as NSE MTL 16-118, Released on 7/1/2016

Original sale price was $84.95for the three pack. Road numbers are number 1309, 1321, 1430.

I’ll pay you the purchase price that you buy it for at the show, plus I’ll pay shipping, plus I’ll throw in a $100 bounty.

Yep, that’s a crisp new Franklin for looking out for this three pack for me.

Wish I had the opportunity to hit some train shows, but unfortunately with work I don’t. I had a death in the family back in 2016 and missed getting to purchase this set which I really would like to have to fill a hole in my collection. Used and runners are fine as long as the body is in good shape.

Thanks,

Jim

Text me at (602)330-1798 If you find one of these. I will respond back immediately if I’m not flying.
Happy hunting

You got me curious enough to look it up.

That paint scheme looks simple enough that custom painting and decaling wouldn't be too difficult. The catch would be the railing color.  Black is wrong, but painting risks the paint chipping on them.  And those things flex easily since they're so thin.

I have seven MT ATSF cabooses for sale, but none of them are those road numbers.  One has obviously been re-numbered, and at least one looks like it has been repainted.  There are no jewel cases.
Let me know if you are interested.

Thanks, but I’m actually looking for that particular set. As far as I know it’s the only micro trains Santa Fe cars produced that I don’t have. I’m sure there are others, I just don’t know about them yet

Assuming that you're a member, have you tried running a want/classified ad in the NSE magazine?

Also, likely the best place to find these cars for sale might be at next year's NSE annual convention.

I should put a want ad in the NSE magazine.

I’ve only missed the convention twice in the last 18 years :-)
