Some recent locos I painted, Lehigh Valley PA1s.  They are Kato engines with Tsunami 2 KN1 decoders.

Very nice job.

They look outstanding.

Thank you.  I used to paint a lot but I just got back to it during the pandemic.

My LV PA1 lineup.  I got a little carried away.

They look pretty good, all of them.

Did LV run only As?

P&LE had only As but parent NYC did have Bs.  It shall remain one of the minor mysteries of N scale why no manufacturer of PAs and there were several, ever did P&LEs.  All of them did NYC Lightning Stripes but none, even BLI (from whom I would most have expected it), ever did P&LEs.

Yes LV only had PA1's no PBs.

Really nice!  Let's see some shots of those reefers in the background too.  :)

The reefers are a Micro Trains weathered 3 pack.  I put on ESM wheels and painted the faces with rail brown.  I can’t take credit for the weathering on those.

I want to add one more image that I liked.  It’s a good closeup.

Attached are two New Haven PA projects that I did.  I always liked the Kato chassis but they didn’t do some of the schemes I liked.  I did the Green and later black and orange.  Someday I’ll try and do the McGinnis.

Kato F7s? Did you do those up as well?

Yes Kato F7a I didn’t weather or finish the numberboards yet.
