I ordered 2 sets. I remember that paint gumming up easy in the airbrush, but at that price I can't go wrong.

I remember those jars being unable to keep the paint liquid for long, once opened.   :RUEffinKiddingMe:

When I use to air brush, I loved this stuff.

As said above, I found out that it was a "use it or lose it" once the cap is opened.

IDK, maybe a glass jar would have made it store longer.

Not knocking the deal on Amazon it's a good price, but if you use a lot of Modelflex, it is worthwhile to be on USA Airbrush Supply email list.

I buy all my Badger paints from these guys-
https://usaairbrushsupply.com/

They run frequent sales (up to 50% off). And often include airbrushes and compressors in those sales.  Over the 10 years I've been buying Modelflex from them, every bottle I've received from them has been fresh.  They also carry the Stynylrez primers. (It apparently stands for Styrene-Nylon-Resin, sticks to almost everything - waterborne Urethane), the Modelflex Automotive colors, and a ton of other paints.

Also a note- while some of the paints have the same names as some old Floquil colors, they do not necessarily match old Floquil colors.  But good weathering colors none the less.

I mix Tamiya with alcohol in plastic squeeze bottles and use like 1/4 paint and 3/4 alcohol for weathering
and they store great. I will do the same with these and see what happens. BTW - The reviews substantiate
all of the issues on the product page on Amazon.

I would be curious about the results.  This entire "acrylic" paint hobby thing is a big wasteland.  The generalization of the name "acrylic" meaning water-based acrylic resin paints is not very helpful either.

Tamiya "acrylics" are actually not water-based. They use  organic solvents, and alcohol is compatible.  Other  brand "acrylics" can actually be water-based, or even use other chemicals, not compatible with alcohol.   Alcohol might actually curdle them.

Agree 100% @peteski , Tamiya + Isopropyl + Retarder = winning.

I would not recommend using Isopropyl with ModelFlex.  I have sprayed it straight from the bottle with great results.  It gives a nice semi-gloss finish, perfect for decaling.

Well, I ordered mine Monday around 7pm and they are due here sometime Wednesday, with Prime free shipping.

@chuck geiger I would say yes to water, or better yet some airbrush medium (has some flow agents and other magic for spraying) -
