@MTLJoe about these loads: all the marketing says it's a set of 5 stacks, but it doesn't specify if they are 1 or 2 stacks wide. Are they single-stacks wide so you need 2 sets of loads per car, or is 1 load sufficient for each car? Thanks!
The frames are double wide as per prototype. 5 car sets are used on the 89 flats and 4 of the truck frames for the same cars. you get an extra load Joe
how about some frames for the vintage modelers?
we are releasing the FTTX flats that they are used on this month (two sets of two, four numbers). they can be used on other flats as well.CheersJoe
Joe, are the truck frames too long to fit all 5 stacks on a single car? The plant I'm trying to represent was building small-medium pickups and SUVs and the images I have show they were getting 5 stacks per car. But if the truck frames would be too long then I guess I need to grab the car frames instead.
Many SUVs use car chassis rather than truck length chassis for the frames. The Rav4 is built on the same chassis as a Camry, IIRC. So small-med pickups and SUVs would be using the car frames which fit as you saw 5 stacks on a car. Best regards,Michael
Aren't most sedans (and likely small SUVs) uni-body nowadays? They don't have full frame - just a sub-frame which carries the drivetrain.
