I see that Bachmann has stealthily released a DCC-Sound version of their 4-6-0. I say stealthily because it is only available as part of their "Whistle-Stop Special" train set.

Looks like the street price for the set is right around $300, which isn't too bad given what DCC-Sound steamers typically sell for. I'm almost tempted to pick up a set just to see how the loco runs, but if someone else would like to beat me to that, please do

Probably isn't much change on the engine itself. They're just plugging in a DCC Sound tender.
