Really enjoying this thread! This is the other Bob who is also doing the East End, but just from Harpers Ferry to Cherry Run. My grandiose vision was to have a second deck that would highlight the Magnolia Cutoff - the plan was described in Model Railroad Planning a few years back. FYI, Alkem model railoads cut acrylic tunnel portals for the Harpers Ferry and all Magnolia Cutoff tunnels for me. The HF portal (painted and installed) is shown in the Cumberland Subdivision thread that Lee pointed out. Lee - congrats on your property purchase! This is so great - I love this area. And, I am happy to say that Bob (spelled backwards!) is letting me order his double-track Pratt thru truss bridges (three of them) so that I can properly model the Shenandoah Branch where it crosses the Potomac.
