Not sick days, but sick time. If I get sick they will hold my job for 13 weeks. I think it builds up to that and they don't tell you how many you get, but we all know.

That sounds like FMLA (Family Medical Leave Act) which is completely different than sick leave. FMLA is usually an extended period of unpaid leave where the company you work for has to provide a job for you (not necessarily the one you are leaving from) at the time you return to work within that 12 week time period. Generally these are the reasons to take FMLA
For the birth and care of the newborn child of an employee;
For placement with the employee of a child for adoption or foster care;
To care for an immediate family member (spouse, child, or parent) with a serious health condition; or
To take medical leave when the employee is unable to work because of a serious health condition.
