I'm in for the 6 pack of TTX as the build date is right at the end of my era.

Thinking 3 TTX, 1 MSDR, 1 NOKL and 1 CN for me.

Or maybe this one:  https://www.nscale.net/forums/showthread.php?51126-Rapido-GP20-Tank-car-review

I will probably regret posting the link since I only skimmed through it, but it did seem to get rather testy.   :(

Haha, and to think, the Railwire is thought of as having a reputation...

I'm going to do something similar.  CN, BCOL, TTX and NOKL are common on CN trains.

Wow, I only skimmed that too, but man do at least one or two of those guys really have trouble accepting that the "modern" wordmark schemes are QUITE CLEARLY patch jobs over the original "Flying P" yellow markings...

I'm going to do something similar.  CN, BCOL, TTX and NOKL are common on CN trains.

Leased NOKL cars VERY VERY VERY common with CN and Ontario Northland. And of course BCOL and GTW and WC are common on CN being subsidiaries. AOK and ATW also common but not covered in Rapido releases (a lot of those are ARI & Trenton cars more like the Atlas car).

TTX shows up but actually in lower numbers, at least from what I see here. TTX cars seem to be more likely to be hauling US lumber or wallboard in, but do carry Canadian loads out as well.

There sure are a lot more of the Red Caboose cars showing up on eBay recently!

If someone were to get rid of there RC cars, make sure they are the ones with the no plate or small plate at the ends because they have the wrong wheelbase for the trucks. The operas and long plates are the keepers, just need to bodymount the couplers and add 100t trucks to the cars that needed.
Which ever side of the track I am on is the right side.

Any chance you got a photo showing the short, long, or no plate ends? I think I know what you mean, but want to make sure I am visualizing it correctly

Anyone know the extract dates the paint schemes go back to? My cut off is 1999.

These two have the correct wheel base - the "opera window":

and the "standard beam":

Both ride too high, but that is fixable.

See Gary’s post for the correct ones, Rapido is making the small beam plate and Atlas makes the no plate in HO.
Rapido is making the early version of the most common type for TTX.

Thread drift me this, Batman:
I am certain I saw red, 63 foot, opera window BC Rail centerbeams running through PA in the mid/late 1980s.  Do I just mis-remember?  (because all the models of BCOL centerbeams I'm aware of are green)

Am I missing some indication of which top truss and deck configurations the models in this run have?
