Have a safe and enjoyable Memorial Day Weekend.  Keep those that made the greatest sacrifice in mind and be thankful for the freedoms that we have because of the actions of those brave men and women.

@SP-Wolf
Beautiful work.

For those of us with our own H-12-44 projects in mind, is there a build thread hiding here on TRW? Or, if not, can you divulge the maker of the chassis and shell?
I did a search, but all I came up with were some posts from several years ago about repowering a Minitrix shell with a Kato NW2 drive. (which resulted in a fine model of the final version of the H12)

I used this shell available from Shapeways

https://www.shapeways.com/product/ATVSNAUL2/n-scale-fm-h-10-44

It fits on a stock Atlas VO1000 chassis.

Thank you, Thomas,

For this build I used: South Boulder Modelworks (Shapeways) shell on a modified Atlas VO1000 chassis.
I also built a short frame H12-44 using the good 'ol Minitrix H12-44 and a Bachmann NW2 chassis.

Thanks,
Wolf

Seems like I've been doing a lot of these re-power projects lately......

Life-Like E6 shells mounted on Kato E7 mechanisms (with Digitrax DCC added).  This is power for my 1939 Twin Cities 400.

@altohorn25 I see at least a couple of cosmetic enhancements to those E6s as well (including headlights and coupler cover).  Nicely done!

Hopefully you will be able to see them next week if @EL3632 posts the video he made.
Ken has an eye for the camera. I marvel at his work, especially since it was done in a crowded room under low light conditions.
(Also keep an eye out for Ken's EL Alcos in the video.)

It was good to go to @rickb773's layout and see it in person. It is always nice to see a layout you've seen online in real life as the layouts can look very different, in a good way. Here is the video I shot at Rick's, eNjoy!

I attended our local Railway Modellers Meet of BC yesterday, which was the first in-person train show in the Vancouver area in three years.  No public; just a room full of prototype modellers.

My friend Nolan and I staged a display comprising our layout display boards and some BCR work equipment:

Nolan's display included (from front to rear):
- Railwest ballast hoppers and a scratchbuilt flanger
- Squamish Auxiliary (tie & truck car, panel track cars, cable car, tool wash and cook diner)
- B&B 102 outfit train

My display included (from front to rear):
- twin trailer flatcars (scratchbuilt)
- flanger (scratchbuilt)
- diesel fuel tank car and cat tool car
- nearly complete Prince George Auxiliary (crane, idler, cable car, tool car, tie and truck cars, panel track car, tool wash car, cook diner, caboose)

The in-person meet concluded a month of Thursday evening online clinics.

Tim

I’ve long been a fan of the WM’s two car passenger trains that roamed the system. The coach is a Bachmann 72’ that’s a stand in. It’s close, but eventually I’ll 3D print new sides for it.

Nice work on those.  Where did you get the decals?

For this build I used: South Boulder Modelworks (Shapeways) shell on a modified Atlas VO1000 chassis.
I also built a short frame H12-44 using the good 'ol Minitrix H12-44 and a Bachmann NW2 chassis.

Nice job on the FM yard goat.  Those things were all over the SF Peninsula at one point.  There were SWs there, as well, but in Santa Clara, College Park yards as well as the San Jose station switcher it was mostly the FMs.

I did a little road striping and weathering on Rt. 44 in The Cornwall CT area.

I like that junction station.  I always have liked junction stations.

I got a few more tree planted in the Whitewater Creek scene today.
A few minutes later I heard the SB Winnfield local coming, so I grabbed the camera.

Hey Bryan,
Scene looks great.  Also, I spy a Borden's butterdish car in the consist.  Did you scratch build that one?

-Brian.

I finished up a few Baldylox Design Skybox cars. This took me different sets of decals and up to 76 decals per car. After a little light weathering, they are layout ready.
