@Dave V , Which grade of paper did you choose for your backdrop ? I'm leaning towards their mid or high grade paper ......Mike
I am still messing around with the Comgrow ROBO CNC with 5W laser attachment. This is a quick and simple N-scale model of the shed/workshop that I am build in my backyard, cut from 2-ply (.036” thick) mat board. On the next iteration, I will add scribed siding, and building and window trim to the drawing in Inkscape. I think I will model the door in a closed position, marked by a scribed line, and then add door trim to highlight its location. The roof will get scribed asphalt shingles. Enjoy!
Craig: Rutherford Creek and the glulam span look great in those photos! Well done.I have finished applying decals to three more of my Van Iron woodchip cars:More in the build thread:https://www.therailwire.net/forum/index.php?topic=49577.150Tim
Do it. I did the low-grade and it was so glossy at first I thought it was unusable. But after enough passes of Krylon spray matte finish to gas a small village, I was able to knock it flat. But go with one of the other grades!
I have always been curious... Do laser cutters cut at angles other than 90 degrees?
