Second Gen EMD Font, numberboards?

What is the correct font for "second" generation EMD number board font?

From what I can tell the numberboard on the engineer side is the "early" font, and the font on the drinker's side fireman's side is the later font. Already have the earlier font, looking for the second.

Good catch, appreciate it! They do have a match. I hoping to to roll my own, cheating by just having the whole board printed. Takes out the neurotic short circuit and meltdown of placing all the individual numbers that drives me bat guano crazy not to mention to spend about 36.4 hours trying to roll one board.

Tim,

I think that the one on the engineer's side is original EMD, and the one on the fireman's side is replacement WM.

Thought that too, that was until I found other roads with the same number boards leading me to think it might be EMD "as delivered"

What's really mind bottling is this 1974 photo of a GP30 from the Boring and Ominous:

*since its not https the image wont show in the image tag

I figure sometime in late 60's early 70's EMD may have changed the font, and the locomotive went in for rebuild or major shopping and they were switched.
