Nothing In N-Scale From Rapido

From the looks of their latest newsletter, it looks like Rapido isn't going to do much in N-Scale for the next little while.  Everything listed is HO.  BALLS!

But the newsletter days does state:

"N Scale New Look Bus - enroute from the factory!"

Their last two engines were pretty much flops.

The F units from the Canadian had some problems, and the F40's were rejected outright and sent back to China for re-work.

It doesn't surprise me that they're taking it slow, considering.

I was very disappointed. They seem to have a lot of quality issues with N scale. I enjoy my Amtrak Horizon cars, but that being said I am about to unsubscribe from the email.

The busses should be a big hit.

They recently released a large assortment of N scale products, and the New Look buses are imminent. There probably will be additional N scale projects announced later in the year.

I would like to see some of their HO freight cars in N scale. Steam generator cars in N would be awesome. Not sure I can get on board with large assortment. The bus is nice but that is scenery not rolling stock.

It makes sense. If the factory is used to HO, n scale tolerances will be an adjustment for them.

They are going to release their B 100-40 Boxcar in N scale also tank car.  If you model SP up to the end. It is a all-important car. Unlike a lot of manufacturer's SP specific model products in N, it is more than dimensionally accurate, it looks like the real thing.

This not a knock against the other manufacturers product.  I am grateful they made the models, but nice if you don't have to carve and rebuild or just live with the poor rendering.  Rapido's B 100-40 looks like a winner

Did they not recently release the Horizon and Comet passenger cars in multiple schemes and numbers?  That seems significant to me.

N scale modelers had been asking for the buses ever since they announced the HO version, so that’s a major release as well, particularly with the lighting effects.

I hear you.  But you know that HO is overwhelmingly their primary focus.  That said, they are pushing out N scale releases at least once a year and when they do, it's usually a substantial amount.
