2022 Run of Atlas ALP-45DP

Hello!

Does anyone have a 2022 run of the ALP-45DP from Atlas? I'm curious if it's any better than the initial 2019(?) run, both the motor speed, and what they're doing as far as a DCC decoder goes.

I have one that's mediocre at best, and I'd be willing to replace it, or buy another for spare parts, but I don't want to end up with 2 mediocre engines that have different guts. All advice is appreciated.

Thanks,
Drew

Bought a DC NJT 5419 last week. Runs a bit smoother than than the first run, but my main issue with the first run was the decoder which apparently had the wrong type of capacitor added to its board leading it to max out at a scale 15mph. Can't really compare. Hand delivered that first run engine to Atlas and had it back a week later with a fixed board.

Also this discussion should probably be moved to product discussion.

Thank you! The 15mph top speed has been a real bummer for these models.
