In the 50s, Southern RRs cement customers wanted larger loads than the usual 70Ts. Instead of buying new cars, they rebuilt
the 70T cars and converted them to 100 T cars. They did this by extended the height, 100T with brakes trucks and additional
bracing. I started with two Bowser 70T cars. There was an article in Mainline Modeler that had several detail photos and a list of the height added to each series of cars done. I built the ends with Special Shapes angle brass.
