I have a question for anyone who owns Intermountain item 67076.  This is an N scale three bay 4650 cubic foot center flow decorated for Conrail.  The photo shown on IMRC’s web site shows the car with six round roof hatches.  On that auction site, someone is selling one with trough hatches that is the same part number. It is definitely an N scale car and does not look modified as far as I can tell.   I called Intermountain, and they insisted all road numbers have six round hatches.  When I mentioned the car I saw on the auction site, he stated again all six road numbers have round roof hatches. If anyone has these cars and could tell me if any of the six road numbers does come with trough roof hatches I would be grateful.  I would like to get a trough hatch version, remove the lettering and decal it as a Conrail class CE16A, as this is the car that it most resembles.  Thank you.

Well now that is interesting.  The information about which part numbers have round hatches versus which part numbers have trough numbers was not on the Intermountain web site this morning or when I posted this question.  I am certain of this as I would not ask something that was readily available on a web page I was looking at.  The gentleman at IMRC was adamant they all had round hatches.   That EBay auction was why I emailed then called IMRC and  asked about the trough hatches.  He dismissed my inquiry and my EBay auction sighting as if the seller modified the car since all six road numbers had round hatches.  Eds Trains told me what is now on the IMRC web page.  Weird.  Thanks for the reply.

You can see the glued on roof in the product photo..

Now I'm 2x happy I didn't get these from BLW/HOG from my pre-order 7 years ago..
IM changed the paint scheme.. and I would not have wanted round hatches!..
