After reading HEMET: TOWN ON A CURVE from John Signor from Santa Fe Historical Society's WARBONNET, I finally figured out where to place LDE elements.

Final changes (yeah right): Adding LP Denny Beer Distributor, Growers Packers and shifted roads around.

I’m digging your town Chuck, it’s a nice little switching layout and I’m building something with the same feel. I think you’ll appreciate the extra industries once it’s time to operate.

Sawyer thanks. So the ATSF and then BNSF ran THE SAN JAC LOCAL 2x per day from San Bernardino to San Jacinto on the SAN JACINTO DISTRICT. I'm starting to understand the traffic flow with all the help I got from folks who know/have worked on and followed the line. I have to decide where in the era span I need to be. ATSF or BNSF or both. Traffic in the 80's into the 90's before the merger was lumber, beer, potatoes, fruit/vegetables and I'm going to stretch grain/seed with hoppers at Alber's Feed.

NEWSFLASH - The ATSF/BNSF San San Jacinto District will be moved from the mother in law quarters (casita) to the workshop/shed, which will be redone. I can now add most of the locations that couldn't be modeled on a shelf layout. This will most likely require a re-build. This is OK with me, there are sections/portions/items I was not satisfied with and I can work out the kinks. I will know more Labor Day Weekend.

Complete runaround a finished room, wiring for DCC and the time to do it right.

It's the journey, not the destination.

Looking forward to the expansion!

Hmmm, if it were me, I'd offer my mother in law the shed and keep the layout in the air conditioned Casita... :D 8) :P
Good luck with the move!
