I was just thinking that.

Plus streamlined PRR K4 for those that didn't get the @Lemosteam  KD kit.

Still no C&O H-8 Allegheny though.   :x

Yeah, but for those of us on a budget, they also have a $30 track bumper and a $36 quad hopper (which looks a lot like the $2 Bachmann hopper I bought in 1978).

I have a mind like a steel trap...a VERY rusty, old steel trap.

No no.. it says right on the page.... "NEW".. :D

And "New" 52' Flats

Well a streamlined K4 in N pretty much says there will be various streamlined Hudsons down the road.

Nothing else for Thomas N scale.. wonder if that isn't selling as well as they had hoped.

HO got a Hudson..

The Amfleets are updated as well. The previous run did not have knuckle couplers. While you could technically install MTLs, it was a rather difficult process to retain the swing arm for tighter radius curves.

Chargers and a new K4 seem like a good release for B-mann.

According to the catalog info, these are body mounted.  Might be tricky to run them with the truck-mounted couplers (especially on tight radius track).

Note that the streamlined K4 is the different later design, not the “Torpedo” that Lemosteam did in kit form.

I was hoping for more Thomas stuff, for some strange reason...

Good on them realizing that you shouldn't release locomotives like that without cars for them to pull, and vice versa.

With new couplers, these Amfleets aren't too bad. Not quite Kato, butter but bad.

Visually, even the previous iteration of Bachmann Amfleets wasn't bad (these are probably using the same molds), but I suspect that they still have those high-friction trucks, and it will be difficult for a loco to pull more than 5-6 cars.  Even Kato's version of those trucks isn't as free rolling as we would want (but better than Bachmann).

So streamlined K4s can pull the Amfleet cars? That would be a Bachmann cover shot. :tommann:

Only thing I'm looking forward too is the 1:29 Evans Boxcars.
I may grab a charger and remove its motor and gears so it can act like every other charger in a consist, DiT.

Shoot. This year just got expensive. And unlike Rapido and Atlas. Who seem to have perpetual supply problems, I thoroughly expect bachmann to pull through. Along with Atlas and Rapido, at the same time.

Hopefully they do a run of fleet of modernism cars next.
