It's weird because there are two different websites - njinternational.com and njisignals.com, and both list different phone numbers. I tried calling the area code 813 number listed on the njinternational.com website and got some guy who sounded like he was at home wrangling kids and barely spoke english, so.... I dunno?-Mark
N Scale Supply "resupplied" their NJI stuff as recently as March, so Mark5 may be right that they're simply in one of their between-runs periods.
Better question, why the hell is their only one company that makes somewhat decent standalone N scale crossing gates? Like its not like its some obscure detail like a flange oiler or switch heater, there has to be hundreds of thousands of somewhat similar gate and signal combos across North America.
From the novice consumer standpoint......everybody asks about working signals....till I tell them the real cost to make them function. There just aren't that many people willing to pay what they are cost. Unfortunately even as prevalent as they are in the real world, it's a small niche item for the majority of model railroaders...and once you do one, every other crossing on the layout is naked without them.
