.....
Just another comment... we had a front load washer for a while and replaced it with a new top load washer. We won’t go back to the front load washer... ever. Front load washer was a pain in the a$$.

Helix Humper can be a computerized task... just saying.

Thanks for the heads up. Maybe I can find something with a lower height. I mean, the other option is dragging the thing forward enough to clear the yard. I actually think that might be possible. The funny thing is that I'm selfishly concerned about ergonomics, since I work from home I'm usually the one loading the washer up.

Let me look the place over...  You have the room for those buggers, you just haven't seen it yet.  It's one of my super powers.  I can see washers and dryers, toilets and showers, and yes, even places for staging yards, where others only see walls and doors...

I'll third the comment about avoiding the front load washer. Ours failed and was so expensive to fix we decided to replace it. Per the repair guy they don't last as long as the top load ones.

I'm certain Lee can find somewhere to put a washer and dryer :D  And if you can get it upstairs on the main level, 10 years older version of yourself will thank current self for doing so

What if...   ...the helix remained in the laundry room, but instead of placing the staging over the washer/dryer the entry to the staging comes back into the layout room with the staging placed under Hanover? Benefits: staging is accessible in the layout room and money saved on not having to by a new washer can be invested in the beer fridge.

But, if you’re on your second set, how have you had zero issues from the first?

“The repair guy said it couldn’t be fixed...” Until pissed off and unsatisfied owner remove front panel and saw, within seconds, 1 single broken wire connection and fixed it. It works fine now.

We've had the same front-load (and stacked!) washer and dryer for 16 years.  Still working!

I think the secret to successful appliance purchases is to avoid Samsung like it's a tire spike across the road.
I've heard their fancy electronics fail pretty consistently (and expensively), and the local repair guys around here refuse to even work on them.

Truth.  I haven't owned any but know people that have and had issues and it extends to their TV's as well.
