Thanks for the info, I may try to look them up tomorrow.  But my browser lit up like a Christmas tree with security warnings when I tried that link.  Granted, it is a fairly paranoid browser, but I don't get those very often.

The live feed is a YouTube venue. The website does have the presentation schedule posted for both days. Each segment is 15 minutes. ESM is on Saturday at 3:15p. MTL, Scale Trains, Rapido and Bachmann have slots, as do TCS and NCE. I would say it’s worth checking the schedule to note the slots you would be interested in and then tune in to the live feed at those times to watch.

Sometimes these groups doing videos like this need to adjust thier production to account for what the viewer sees and does not see....

Example:  I was watching on the big screen TV with my Roku.. I can't see the description.. and therefore I can't see the format or schedule.

It just looked like a political roundtable discussing model trains..

Same goes for people watching mobile... the details are there but you need to dig for it.

According to the IM page https://www.intermountain-railway.com/newsncomingsoon.html (updated the 29th) both the 4750's and the Trinity 5161's are "In Production" so we may see them by this summer.

Bless them for trying to do something virtually. Bless you guys for covering it and reporting to all of us.

For me, meh. Nothing beats getting up early, eating at the diner in Connecticut, and waiting in line for the steam whistle at show opening. The evening's fresh seafood meal, and the ever - present threat of a winter storm for the ride there or back via Ontario. Its quite an adventure for the midwesterner, you understand. I miss it all.

I keep hearing rumblings of Kato doing a Sunset Limited. Any truth to that?

They're doing another run of the SP Daylight with an Southern Pacific Lines GS-4.  10-car set and 2-car add on.

It turned out to be a bad rumor, as posted over at TB.

Sorry, but a “virtual train show” just seems sad and pointless to me.

Ohio's been having them since this summer. I've attended 3 or 4 since covid. Everyone's been masked. Haven't caught the plague yet. Granted, much less attendence than Springfield.  Viva Ohio!!!
