Yeah, the "1:150" in the image left me wondering, too. If the model resembled anything UP had I'd take a gamble on an undec 3-pack if only to satisfy curiosity, but they didn't, so I won't. Certainly does look like North American prototype, tho', if just a "based on".
These look pretty crude. The decals are minimalistic (and missing from the car ends). There’s also no brake wheel visible in the eBay ad. For a few bucks more you can get a lot better model through a major manufacturer.
They look like they could be halfway decent models, but off the top of my head, I can't think of any prototype 53' cars that only had 13 panels. C&O did had some 13 panel cars with drop ends, but they were 48'...

It does look like a knockoff of Bachmann’s HO model.
