This might not be modelling exactly but.....
Project Lipstick on a Pig has commenced!!! :D :D
I had to read Petes instructions on posting pictures ...... oh the shame!!!!! :D :o
Oops I'd better tell you what  it is - A Bachmann trainset F9, this will be corrected to ATSF design, it won't be 100% accurate but it's still an F9. Mechanism probably a Kato, I could call it a Bachato!!!

Op Session 22 is in the books.  This was my second op session during the pandemic and the various precautions implemented last time were repeated.  I also tried out a hospital grade air cleaner to provide improved air quality.  Michael Batten served as dispatcher from his own layout room at home via google Meet, which worked very well.  This added a crew member without being in the room, and freed me up to run some trains!

A record 38-car Vancouver-Peace freight arrived in Chetwynd:

The consist included the new bulkhead flatcars and gondolas pictured earlier in an earlier post:

The Chromebook for the video link with the dispatcher was positioned so that he had a good view of the layout room.  Michael was seated in his own layout room at home.  His layout depicts the Esquimalt & Nanaimo Railway on Vancouver Island in N Scale:

The autumn yard job at Dawson Creek remains in effect during the fall grain rush and here RS-3 567 is seen collecting grain cars from the elevator track:

Meanwhile, on the lower deck below in Chetwynd Yard, Nolan was building the outbound Dawson Switcher on East Siding 2 and the outbound Septimus Turn on the passing track:

Engs 810 and 807 depart Chetwynd with the Septimus Turn, while at left Engs 804, 570 and 632 prepare to leave with the Dawson Switcher:

Michael dictates a Manual Block Clearance for the Dawson Switcher to Philippe via the Google Meet video link:

Caboose 1863 brings up the rear of the westbound Dawson Switcher as it rolls through Tremblay en route back to Chetwyynd:

Good to be running revenue trains again!

Bulkheads look really good Tim as does the other rolling stock.

Haven't had a chance to do much modelling but did find time to get a layout tour video shot.

If I can trust the google search, then yes.

I agree, those bulkhead flats are nice.  Maybe, someday, I'll get mine.

Chicken45’s friend Jarrod bought the building this model is based on in downtown Johnstown. He will be moving his bike shop Hope Cyclery into the building so he asked if I could make another model of the building, and here it is. Great to see this building in good hands.
