I just hope its a model that hasn't been made before. I will probably purchase one even if it is to new for my model railroad. I would really like some manufacture to produce a U33C and U36C in EL, that would really make my day!

I was about to say, if it's not a modern SD45, an SD40 would be another real winner.

I tried telling them this at a train show two years ago, but I don't think they agreed. The vibe I got was "only modern stuff sells". I think they see the C39-8's, carbon black hoppers, and maybe the PS-4785's as poor sellers while their modern stuff flies off the shelves. And honestly given how the industry is trending, I can't say they are wrong.

Also they are HO guys first and I think their N line is as much to leverage research they have already done for HO models as it is an effort made on its own merits.

That is probably the only cab unit out there where the B unit is available (from Intermountain, to pair with their FP-9) but not the A.  I am surprised that IM doesn't list F9As and sets in their extensive line of F units they never produce but have nice pictures of.

I have a mind like a steel trap...a VERY rusty, old steel trap.

From your lips to Scaletrains's ears!  That, or an H20-44, would put a hole in my bank account for sure.

You don't like Minitrix?  :P

but it's a cool add on, like a PRR radio antenna, it just begs to be done

Hey, *lots* of people model the PE...I know at least two more, that makes it at least three of us  :D
Well, I sort of model it, more as scenery, to set the SoCal mood...

That said, that IS a very nicely finished and detailed Minitrix H12-44.

Since I am stuck in 1975 I really don’t know the different iterations of modern locos running around. I can spot the SD80/90 and now 70 tail end to know those are EMD but beyond that I am lucky that NS prints it on the side of the cab for me. I need a bunch of GP30s with high hoods, and SD45s the same way. Don’t think Scale Trains is going to dip that far back based on what they have been doing. But I can always hope.

Nice loco there Doug!  But I am really after a couple of these:

I'd rather let some factory handle all the pinstripes... :P
