I have to say that in most of your photos you use an unusual lighting technique. Not sure if that enhances or detracts from your modeling efforts.

If you are going for this look:
That's not bad at all. Yours seem to have a pointy top, while those are flatter.
(I just did a Google Image Search for ponderosa pine.)
