That's exactly why @wm3798 didn't blend it.  He made it suffer.

Yes it's an old Trix unit.  Only the best for my fleet!

Effing around with new stretch of completed scenery .....

It would take a crew with shovels, tools and a backhoe to make the prototype track north of my house look that realistic.

Started working up a little stop for refreshment from the Walters kit. Big windows means an interior. Have t decided on lights yet.

And the 9 year old finally decided to run trains:

A couple of projects completed with paint, decals, and weathering: two N Scale X29 boxcars. The Merchandise Service X29 is a Red Caboose model and the other car is Fine N Scale resin kit. Both are lettered with Microscale decals and FCC is Badger Light Tuscan Red Oxide (old stock).  Two down, approximately 28,990 to go.

Liking those chalk marks!  Did you find decals for those, or do them with a pencil?

It is interesting how well they look together.   No glaring differences in interpretation.  FinNScale resin holds up well against the injection molded plastic...and has subtle sheet wrinkles.  Nice job on the paint and decals!!

I finally got my New Haven SWC today.  The interior is painted rather than molded plastic, a pleasant surprise and much better looking.  Also pleased to find the couplers mounted at a good position in relation to the end of the car, so I didn't have to move them inward.  Painted the inner walls, ceiling and floor, added a light board, added 3D-printed diaphragms, swapped in ESM metal wheels and removed the mullions from the vestibule doors to modernize them.  Spiffy-looking car, looking forward to the Runner Pack at the end of the year.

@dougnelson , really nice job on paint, decals, and weathering!  Those Badger oxide reds look great on PRR 40-footers.
