I’m sure you didn’t mean literally throw the 500 throttle away, because (1) you could sell it and recoup a significant chunk of money, or (2) you may quickly find that it’s nice having a second throttle around for additional operators on your layout.DFF
My point was that from my view as a new person to the hobby, getting into digitrax with a throttle that has an interface as nice as the NCE throttle went from not possible to overly expensive. From this seat I think digitrax just penalized new customers / modelers interested in their product.
... Much to the DVM A$$hats dismay ...
This throttle in a starter set would be a game changer for Digitrax. But I'm not switching systems for it.
Ok, help the new guy out. DVM? (Pretty sure I know what an A$$hat is. )J
Delaware, Virginia, Maryland...commonly referred to as Delmarva.
The "DMV" is more of a DC area moniker covering the District, Maryland, and Virginia.

You see, in an effort to cling to his rapidly fading youth, he refuses to wear his readers while thumb typing on his flip phone.Lee
DelMarVa? That would be DMV, not DVM, rigth? Probably just a typo.
I was born and DC and grew up around it - not familiar with that.
