All you need now is the special extended roundhouse stall and a wye on which to turn the S1:

@UP4-8-8-4  -  are you doing all these spectacular shells at home on your own printer, or are these commercially available somewhere?

No reply necessary- found the answer on your S2 thread.  I've seen some of those on eBay.  Let me know if you get around to a GTW U4b (or CN U4a).

Tom D.

I have a mind like a steel trap...a VERY rusty, old steel trap.

Beautiful really beautiful.   How do we get our hands on both the shells and decals ?

I had a brass S1 for exactly 20 years.  It never ran all that well. I purchased it used and after a few runs some of the valve gear fell apart.  As a machinist I managed to make a new crosshead, piston and a rod which was a nightmare. Got her to run so so.  I ended up selling it for $20 more then I paid for it in 1999.  That was ok, I got to enjoy it on the shelf and pretty much broke even but i do miss it.  I seen one go for $2500 not long ago.

This one I built and painted for my buddy that prints them.
Did use my Oriental one for adding the detail.
He also gave me one which I will eventually build.
He has them on his Ebay site as well as some other steamers.
Have forgot, are we allowed to post links such as his Ebay one ?

Had forgot to mention, another friend is doing all the custom decals for all his 3D steamers and diesels.

Thanks Frank.
Yeah, I really like this place, but kinna strayed away, mainly as of all the engine builds I've been doing for myself the past couple years.
Was on quite a bit when Jason was also posting.
Do plan on spending more time here I used to.

I just picked up my 4th T1 to use for an S1. Hopefully these return for purchase along with decals.  I've had an extra J1 here for some time now which will be used for the S2 when that returns to production I can only hope.
