A plea from Jas___ Rapido

How close are the original VIA F40's compared to an Amtrak one in Phase II paint? Modeling the the mid to late 70's in East Central OhioI sure could use one. I could paint one but I'm so far behind now with projects that I'll most likely get one finished. If Rapido, or anyone else will build it, I'm in for a couple.

              :|As a passenger train Nerd, I sure hope they do the Rebuilt F 40's to pull the current era Canadian I have on order along with an original Maroon Era one. The LRC cars are just unique enough I had to order some, I hope they get produced I' am sorry they are not doing the LRC locomotive in N. Yes I realize that for us U.S. modelers American paint schemes would sell better. Nate Goodman (Nato). Who did buy a VIA Turbo Train.

Well, all I can say is that while Rapido makes beautiful N Scale products, they do very little for US railroads in the steam era.   Since that's what I model, there just ain't much there for me.

I don't say this to imply that they should shift their focus, only that this is why I don't buy their rolling stock or engines.  But if the US and transition era are still the highest-population customer base, then that's where they have to shift to if they want to move more product.

Atlas sound DCC FAs and FBs are going to start arriving in stores in a few months. Don't think Rapido can outrun those guys.
However, nice to know they sold a lot of the NH 8600 coaches. Maybe this increases the chances of doing the parlor cars in N. Which would be excellent models for kitbashing most of the rest of the lightweight corrugated cars. Having to buy 3 cars to make two kitbashes would help those sales prospects.  I can dream!!

Don't count on that.  Atlas hasn't hit a production target date in years.  Look at their Production Schedule  They're way down the list. 

Plus Rapido does the FA-2 where Atlas is doing the FA-1 so they are somewhat different.
