Spookshow's site says "The all-metal pantographs are sprung and moveable (you can either have them all the way up, or locked down flat). "He clearly says that they do not pick up electricity, which is fine. But if the pans are "sprung", will they follow a wire, if one is present, or are they like Kato's, designed to be up or down, but not "operating" in between?
Looking for a GG1 "deathmatch", are you?Peteski will need to expand his vocabulary: https://avedictionary.com/browse/
But your signature says “blunt and honest”, not “brutal and honest”.
Peteski: Thank you! If they ever do a MILW electric, or an E33, which the MILW actually considered in the 60s, that's a definite point in their favor.
Lol, this makes me want Peteski to start doing AvE style model reviews. BoLMRs!
Then I order the parts I need, plus couple of those pantographs. They do fit the Kato GG1 with minimal modification.
Tell me more! I have a Kato GG1.
It arrived today. Only two days from Micro Mark and it is the sound value version so it isn't a type O or anything wrong, just very unusual I would think when most are selling it for $199, this was $132.
