It would be an interesting exercise to compute the scale acreage you gave planted there, and then calculate the typical crop yield value and see how that value compares to your cost to model this scene to see if you’re “profitable”.

Just finished up my Kato wheel axle press.
Parts used:-
1 x eBay watch pin press $2.62 free shipping from China
2 x off cuts from a micro engineering bridge deck which just happened to be the right thickness 2.7mm with a hole drilled in one piece and the other piece used as a backer to blind the hole.
1 x small off cut of oak hardwood to act as a spacer and account for the watchpin press’s anvil being beveled and not perpendicular to the press screw over its full length.
1 x aluminum nail put in the end of the press screw.

Result, repeatable axle adjustments for less than 3 bucks.
