Nice.  I see Don Cherry won't be doing his Coach's Corner any longer.

I assume they are recognizing Canadian Armed forces, I get the navy one, but what do the other units represent?..

Nothing seemed to honor the mounted police..

They look cool though..

I hope they expand on the heritage scheme to include PacMan and maybe some heritage lines.. E&N, Milwaukee, Soo, D&H.. I'm sure there are others (THB?)

RCMP registered Disney Trademark.

I was told that there will be no Multimark, or any further heritage units. I hope I was lied to.

Honoring the military is great, but this business of painting locos in camouflage colors seems like its asking for trouble....

Those schemes certainly can't be any worse than a black NS locomotive in the dark.  That's why there are conspicuity stripes.

If you look close, they have a Canadian flag on one side and a U.S. flag on the other, as apparently an homage to the military service of both countries.

So who will be the first to add these commemorative schemes to their model lineup: Fox Valley? Kato? (cough cough), BLI?  Someone definitely should. The Spitfire scheme is my favorite.  Kudos to CP.

Well first someone actually needs to make a model of this type of engine.

The SD70ACU is a SD90MAC rebuild done by NS and Progress Rail (according to SD70ACU Wiki... )  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EMD_SD70ACU

So an SD70ACe cab on an SD90MAC...

(Likely more than that.. but that's the biggest spotting feature.)
...NS units may have 2 fan radiators?

The paint schemes are unique enough that I could see Kato doing a new cab and release the CP heritage and Troop units.

But paint SD90s and 90% wouldnt care..
