I’ve powered a scratchbuilt TT with a Hankscraft slow speed display motor in the past.  Google yields some around $35 rated at 10 rpm at 12 volts....plenty slow for alignment by eye.  The Peco should work with C55 as I don’t think track is integrated with the table. The Hankscraft motors were marketed as stall switch machines so you might find them at a hobby shop (Switchmaster??).
Some have used phono plugs and jacks to power the table tracks but it would require other than direct connection to the motor.  You can also use split TT ring rails to provide power that auto reverses polarity.

In regards to the boxed water, killing trees, plastic not being recycled etc, my company has developed and received an award recently for bringing the first 100% recycled plastic bottle to market for bottled water.

https://www.plasticstoday.com/recycling/nestl-waters-north-america-receives-prestigious-design-recycling-award/134071754760670

Being in the bottled water industry, I'm tired of us getting bashed for all the plastic issues.  Then at the same time, what's the first thing that is requested/bought up pre/during/after a natural disaster ?  Yep, bottled water.

Back to your trains now :D

Whatever happened to the glass bottles?   :)
While not water, Coca Cola to me tastes better when I drink it out of a glass bottle, instead of a plastic one or a metal can. Could be just me  . . .  And even if we dumped glass in the ocean, it should sink and not cause problems.  :)  In case it should be clarified: yes the last sentence was in jest.

Actually, those were from my personal  stash on the same table (I thought I recognized that handwriting), but I'm glad they are being put to use! The DKS collection will be in Egg Harbor again  this  weekend if you need anything else.

I joined the forum today, and just got back into model railroading this October after several years of burnout and retiring to the great state of Idaho. My favorite road is the Northern Pacific, Scale is Z, and I don't have a layout yet, but I am starting with an NP 2 Story depot. I am still waiting for some 3mm square plastic tubing to make the chimneys, and have a few other details to add, but this is my progress as of Sunday night:

Opps! I must be on some form of noob filtering, I can't share a picture. Maybe next time.

If you see it, get it, for tomorrow it may be gone!
Oh, and most importantly...NEVER do today what can safely be sloughed off till tomorrow!

Are you the same Robert Ray that made some nifty caboose kits some years back?  If so, nice work!

And painted.. well mostly. Needs some touchups but that's happening when it goes on a layout.

Welcome back to the hobby Robert! I can't wait to see what you're working on.

Yes, particularly in the next week or two when I finally get around to showing off my Prusa test prints!  I know one of them should be quite appealing to the Z Scale crowd.   :D

BUT BUT WE'D BE destroying the Ant Lion habitat..

To your last point, likely some obscure endangered sea floor creature would find new life with protective houses (bottles) they can live in and stay safe from others.

Is there a process for glass to degrade back into sand?
.... actually I was just reading an article that the natural way to recycle glass is to let it wear back into sand.. (like in the ocean)

Planters Peanuts in glass jars taste way better than plastic jars in my experience.

Yes, but I think it's only in the ocean though. In order to break down it basically needs to be constantly moved around by currents. It's basically degradation by slowly rubbing sandpaper randomly along the bottle over a few years.
