A bit more settled now and doing some modeling!!!!
Starting with the bridge, I modified the Chooch abutments to suit the bridge. This involved removing two courses of stones from between the top and the next level down. These were clearly designed for a larger bridge. Its fine though, easier to make shorter than to expand. The bridge still isn't glued in yet, I want to do some scenery on the river bellow before its too late.
Just because its not fully installed doesn't mean I can't pose equipment on it.
I've also started to plan out the Main Street section. As trains exit the bridge they cross Mill Street and then parallel Main. Here we see the bookstore at the corner of Main & Mill streets, looking along Mill Street towards the proverbial mill.
Looking the other way up Mill Street along the river bank. I need to get a tripod and figure out focus stacking...
I'm looking forward to this scene, where four tracks cross Mill Street and the traffic backs up as the local does its work.
