It was a pretty uneventful Sunday and I was able to get the GP59 long hood drawn up and printed. I'm designing everything to utilize as many parts from the FVM GP60 donor as possible.

Thanks Pete.  And no tricks this time either.
Wait till I hook up the smoke unit to pulse out of the reapers robes!

I decided to give them a semi-permanent home on a module and began scratch building an old abandoned stone house to set in the middle of the woods somewhere.

Cool!  Can't wait to see the finished scene!

Looking great @bnsfdash8 Reese! I'd love to do one of the GP60 demo's with the aero cab - are you offering the cab prints for sale at all?

I've been playing around with the Photon some more ..   Resized some models from Thingyverse from 1/100 to 1/160 for loads and test printed a couple of Strykers without weapons, and a Humvee based (Avenger) Stinger missile air defense vehicle ..  I need to change some of the supports around on the Hummers to keep from breaking off the top of the rear doors .. will try to hollow the cab as well, or just print them in clear resin ..

What a weekend!

Went to go see @mu26aeh 's rebuilt Hanover Sub. Spoiler: it rocks!

Then came home and did some organization.

Followed by some test running on Sunday.

Decorate the switch plate as a water/coal tower and disguise the switches as spouts.  :)

I was going to say he should go with two of those big Paul Bunyan statues standing side by side.

GP59 is looking great, Reese! You have your own printer?

Fixing the Atlas plow.

Nice!
I did the same thing last weekend, although I pulled the front roof walk off entirely and thinned the other one down with files and a knife.

I was REALLY tempted to get a smoke jack from a Bowser N5 to replace the stock one with but it wasn't worth the shipping.

Did you think about adding the roof handrails? I avoided them too, but they were cool looking (if I were an ACTUAL modeler...).

I'll be adding them along with the roof brake and horn. I think the plow also had the red Scotchlite squares in back as well. I really want to add working lights and maybe a front coupler.

Nice!

I guess you have more needs for plows up on the Boston Line...
