So much LOL at Trovestar.
I assumed it was her Trovestar Blog that she is cross posting to Trainboard. So it's not even her review? she is copying it from the Atlas Archive photo database 'Trovestar' Apparently the 403 error I was having was Trovestar between "( )"s~Ian
She is involved with Trovestar, but I believe the gdm is George, not sure the relationship between the two. Here is one of her articles, https://trovestar.com/generic/blog.php?Article=427
Jenna is George's wife, and I believe both are involved in Trovestar. Next time I see George (should be at the Greenberg show next month), I ask him why they use Jenna's name as a Trainboard member.
The specs kept changing on the Affa-supplied trucks and wheels (and screws) from run to run, which is why we decided to tool our own. Axle diameter, truck bolster, and even the crown on the screws would change. In hindsight, we should have designed the coupler pocket with the screw hole further inset.
I had a "dragging" ESM car that wasn't that easy to find. Easy to fix, once found, but not easy to find. One axle was rubbing on the coupler cover screw - but only when it was on the track. Pick it up, turn it over, and the wheels spun fine. Finally I held it just right, the truck settled just right, and it scraped. A little filing on the screw solved the problem.
Meh.. Haters gonna hate no matter what you do... Your models are great.. keep it up... ~Ian
