Green.. . .I think black, while it might work in photography to frame a scene, demands more of a shadowbox presentation in person. So only the lit display of the layout is seen. A black edge over an open framework or shelves full of junk doesn't quite cut it.Lee
Green.I just like the way it is neutral against scenery, and doesn't challenge the eye to interpret the fascia as anything but part of the scene... without actually being part of the scene. Granted, I modeled the lush Mid-Atlantic, so that worked as part of the overall ethos, but a desert or western setting might find the tans and browns more suitable.I think black, while it might work in photography to frame a scene, demands more of a shadowbox presentation in person. You guys are killing me. I'm not there yet , haven't even installed it yet but for a few years i been questioning what color to go with when it's time. I'm am totally lost now after looking at the layouts. So many nice ones. I think certain colors go with certain layouts. With mine I just don't know yet. While i have your attention, i'm not even sure what to do about the backdrop scenery for the walls.
