August MT releases are hitting websites.  B&O and PRR folks may find this month painful to the wallet.

It's also a big UP month.

Nothing for this SPF.  Those PRR hoppers are way too new for me.

Wait, a CUSTOM Thomas Kinkade car? Are there any guidelines about what can or can't be printed, @Shipsure ? Because I have some fun ideas...

Before ewe you get too excited, see the disclaimer at the bottom of the order form.

Looks like the proto PRR hopper is a H-47a built by Magor in 1965

Conrail would be a great candidate for a weathered PRR paint out of this car.  There are photos on the CRHS website I believe.  Go to Freight cars, covered hoppers, 3 bay covered hoppers, class H47.  CR888624 is a good choice.  Thanks.

Thankfully nothing for me. The DODX sets have been draining the wallet lately, and a little break will be nice.

I'm curious - how did MTL depict the unpainted aluminum body for the H-47a - silver paint?

"They were delivered in the final PRR scheme, with black lettering on an unpainted aluminum carbody."

Judging by the aluminum Soo line version I have, yes...

The thought crossed my mind that was the long term goal with this release.
