August MT releases are hitting websites. B&O and PRR folks may find this month painful to the wallet. It's also a big UP month.https://hogtrainz.com/MTAUG2019.htm
Wait, a CUSTOM Thomas Kinkade car? Are there any guidelines about what can or can't be printed, @Shipsure ? Because I have some fun ideas...
Looks like the proto PRR hopper is a H-47a built by Magor in 1965http://prr.railfan.net/freight/classpage.html?class=H47Mark
2nd number for this scheme.. (and still no Conrail)
I'm curious - how did MTL depict the unpainted aluminum body for the H-47a - silver paint?"They were delivered in the final PRR scheme, with black lettering on an unpainted aluminum carbody."
The Railwire is not your personal army.
Conrail would be a great candidate for a weathered PRR paint out of this car. There are photos on the CRHS website I believe. Go to Freight cars, covered hoppers, 3 bay covered hoppers, class H47. CR888624 is a good choice. Thanks.Jeff
