@rapidomikeDoes this mean commuter F40PH engines will follow at some point?
The Railwire is not your personal army.
Canadian is very nice. But.... ran 500 miles north of my layout. I do have a plausible use for the FP-9 IF someone can show me a photo of one in Michigan or Illinois (Chicago) PRIOR TO DEC 31, 1956. I have plenty of photos of them in use on CN/GTW trains in the 1960s, but that is too late. I have read that once in a while, CN diesels appeared on those trains in the mid 50s, but none that are specific on which diesels, and no photos of any CN diesels (the steam locos could not travel through the tunnel under the river at Sarnia-Port Huron).Of course, if I win the lottery or discovered buried gold, I will rethink the Canadian. In the meanwhile, I guess I need to see if I can find a source for the 4 sets of Athabasca sides I need for cars that never made it into the Panorama line.
Damn is right... Gonna have to save my pennys cause I could easily buy 4 trainsets. The LRC cars are cool too, if they sell well would a N scale LRC be a possibility?
I completely agree with Tom. I'd love to own the Canadian if I happen to win the lottery and would also welcome any photos of FP9As in Chicago and or Michigan so I can add it to my collection. I'm more flexible on time, could go as late as 1958. 😉If I get the chance to ride the Canadian, that would greatly increase my chances of wanting to purchase one.
