:)The first Texas Special cars from "Rail Smith Models" (Lowell Smith) are now here. I received my three sleeping cars last week. The painting and the  red script lettering are very nicely done. The silver color is very chrome-like similar to recent KATO releases. Car names are "David Crockett", "James Bowie", and "William B. Travis". These cars put Con Cor"s old Limited Addition set to shame, plus Con Cor had no fluted side sleepers so they had to use Rivarossi fluted side coaches to represent sleepers, and they cobbled together and observation car instead using the Rivarossi observation car which they had access to which would have been closer to correct. I'am looking forward to the other Texas Special releases from Rail Smith Models when he does coaches and tools up a diner car. Nate Goodman (Nato).  :)
