This is my fellow co-worker Cody's photo. The Maryland & Delaware RR is preparing to return to Snow Hill, MD, to serve Tyson's feed mill after a 7 year hiatus (they stopped receiving because of NS rates allegedy). This engine ran down the line to clear any trees south of Bishop that were fouling the ROW and laid over in Snow Hill as they were out of time. The first 10 cars of corn should be delivered next week to Tysons as they are already on line. During that time, due to resignations and retirements, there are only two of us still working with the MDDE that have worked this elevator (myself included). This CF7 is seemingly on borrowed time. It still runs, but it's days are numbered. The railroad is preparing to purchase something in the near future. I'll miss running this engine when she goes, just because it sounds good and that horn is one of the best!
