I had to look twice to see that it's a model: and Z scale at that!

Hey, usually I'm the one everybody complains about for critiquing things! But I think that the photo, and especially the Z scale modeling, is really well done.  Perfect? No. But compared to most layouts, it has a realistic  feel to it.  I'm really impressed with he fine (close to scale) details of the sanding towers and the loco handrails.  This is Z scale guys!

Click-bait?  Maybe, because of the title of the thread.  If you titled it something like "Some great small scale modeling", nobody could call it click-bait.  I enjoyed looking at this photo Mark.  Thanks for baiting (or is it biting?) me.

I used that title because "I had to look twice" to see that it wasn't a prototype photo; only after looking closely at the gaps in the pilots did I see it was a model, probably Z.

I thought it was/is pretty good...

The static grass was the first give away I saw. Great scene though.. would be proud to own or operate on that.

Unfortunately, for those that don't already know, this railroad being shown, the Bay Coast, went out of existence last May (2018) in real life here on the Delmarva. The top 15 miles of their track are now operated by the Delmarva Central RR. Everything south of Hallwood, VA, to Cape Charles, VA, is more than likely going to be ripped up. The car float is long dead with the barge sold. Operations on the Norfolk, VA, side are now handled by the Buckingham Branch RR.

Fantastic modelling shot though.
