I just found this store thanks to @David K. Smith 's post on my chemical tanks thread:

There's some neat stuff in there. Anyone ever tried out any of it?

Not them, but I recently got some Victorian homes through a very similar outfit. Not great, but with some spit and polish, these turds can be made acceptable as background elements.

Oh yeah. Outland Models has some really good stuff. They have two product lines: the 3D stuff (which is largely meh) and the injection stuff.

I guess someone has access to a 3D printer but either its an old one or they just don't care enough to really produce a great product. They have a bunch of interesting buildings, but the roughness of the prints make me not willing to spend the time to fix them. Smoke stacks that go:

(       )
 )     (
(       )
 )     (

Looks good on a woman, but not so much on a smokestack...or building. And when you have a 3D printer, why print water tank bases as solid and not as built? Wish I could just buy the 3D design and print them myself...(but then I would HAVE to buy a printer and I've been trying really hard to avoid that)

I've seen most of these models on thingiverse:

https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2848353
https://www.thingiverse.com/kabrumble/designs
https://www.thingiverse.com/Mfouillard/designs

I think there are a lot of people just printing out other peoples designs on ebay.

The only outrageous deals I know of are at Brass Brothers Bargains, the exclusive proprietors of the DKS Collection.
