Some real nice work displayed by all, thanks for sharing.

Anybody, but me, remember the 1947 -1949 era Freedom Train ? Here she is coming down the Rockies on the New Mexico N Scalers Layout in Las Cruces. The power is KATO chassis with LL shell and the cars are old Rivarossi ( ?? ) cars.

Passing by Ewing Oil & Refing Company.............

Thanks for looking,

A Happy and Blessed Easter to all who celebrate it.

M-630 722 and M-630W 729 are out of the paint shop:

I am currently breaking in the mechanisms following the Dofasco truck conversions.  After that comes decoder, speaker and lighting installation, and final assembly.

With the arrival of a supply of custom decals, I have been able to get down to work finishing many of the freight cars recently painted.  This weekend has been spent applying decals to six BCOL flat cars and one CN flat car built from the Briggs Models 3D kits.  The prototype cars were built by National Steel Car - note the different profile of the bottom side sill on the CN car:

This is GREAT, Bryan!  There is so much good about this model.  I especially like the extra care you took to run
the piping through hold-downs, eyelets and other supporting brackets on the roof.

Still have a loooooong way to go to catch you Max!  8)

I took my Wisconsin Dells bridge module outside in the backyard to take some outdoor lighting photos. I need to find somewhere close to my house that doesn't have background structures.......ugh.. Caleb.

Very nice.
It's worth noting that with a pan shot, all the blurry scenery doesn't need to be perfect, and one can really boil the verisimilitude down to the modeling quality of the locomotives.   ;)

Roots type. Wasn't there a pair of them(one for each bank) on the 567C in the GP9's?
